In this lesson we have learned these new keywords :
- Representation is how the media chooses to present a certain individual, group or event.
- Archetype is the ultimate stereotype.
- Counter type is the complete opposite of a stereotype.
Moreover, media institutions use stereotypes because the audience will instantly relate to them which is called the visual shortcut.
